Management Team

Neil Wild

Managing Director / Owner

Founder of Landywood Landscapes Limited in 2004 (Limited in 2006).  Previous experience as an engineer within the house building industry,  Neil started Landywood Landscapes as a small gardening business in 2004 after a number of successful canvassing studies found a need for good, affordable and reliable gardners in his local area.  Achieved ONC/HNC in building studies and went on to study an Royal horticultural Society course.  Trained operator in Chainsaws, safe use in pesticides (pa1/pa6), Grass machinery, Forklift license,  and hand held equipment CSCS and ROLO

Matt Walklate

Contracts Manager (Landscaping)

Joined the Landywood team in November 2021 as a landscaping operative to help out the landscaping team with the ever growing amount of work following a successful career in industrial cladding leading a team of men across the country. Increases in workload, ability to control a team, his professionalism and attitude to work meant a speedy promotion to Landscaping team leader then contracts manager within 12 months.  Matt controls the day to day running of the landscaping team across the midlands.  His qualifications include Forklift license, Avant License, SSSTS, CSCS, ROLO and first aid

Micheal Del-Giudice

Contracts Manager (Arboriculture and Grounds Maintenance)

 Micheal joined Landywood in July 2015 as a trainee and has consistently proved himself to be a competent worker. Since joining he has become Fully qualified in all areas of grounds maintenance and tree surgery, chainsaws (both >380mm trees and 380mm+), aerial rescue, chainsaw in a tree, safe dismantling of a tree (rigging operations), stump grinders, MEWP (MOBILE ELEVATING WORKING PLATFORMS) operation, chainsaw in a MEWP, horticulture level 2, arboriculture level 2, CSCS, ROLO, Avant Loadall trained, woodchipper use, Pesticide applications, grass machinery, handheld equipment, Forklift License and First aid.  He was recently promoted to Contracts Manager to assist in the continued growth and success of the business.

Lucie Wild

Office manager

Lucie joined us in 2020 following a successful career as a PA and marketing manager in a Staffordshire school.  Prior to this Lucie was a finance officer for Staffordshire University where she gained her level 2 accountancy (AAT).  Her wealth of experience with the finance industry give her good standing for running the Landywood Office.

Arboriculture Team

James Morrisson

Team Leader (Arboricultural)

James Joined us in November 2022, James has worked in the arboriculture and landscaping industry for 6 years prior to joining. He is qualified for chainsaw use >380mm, Stump grinder, CSCS and ROLO,James is also a qualified Avant multi loader user earning his competency certificate through our training scheme.

Lyndsey Wallis

Arboricultural Operative

Lynsdey joined Landywood in July 2021 after a number of years in retail and then with another midlands based Arboricultural company.  Lyndsey has become a strong, successful member of the team, working across all divisions.  Qualifications in chainsaw use (>380mm), Woodchipper, aerial rescue, chainsaw in a tree, safe dismantling of a tree (rigging operations), Avant loadall licensed, CSCS and ROLO

Landscaping Team

Kane Turner

Team Leader (Landscaping)

Kane is the most recent permanent team member to join Landywood Landscapes Limited (January 2023).  Kane trained as a bricklayer then switched to landscaping and after several successful years within the landscaping industry, joined us direct from a large local company.  His support within the team is already proving invaluable.  Kane is CSCS trained.

Tom Callear

Landscaping Operative

Tom has over 8 years of landscaping experience covering everything from patios and driveways to turf laying and hedge trimming.  His experience will be invaluable in supporting the landscaping team.  Tom is also a qualified Avant multi loader user earning his competency certificate through our training scheme.

Tom is a keen fisherman who has recently welcomed his first child.

Charlie Stowe

Landscaping Operative

Charlie rejoined Landywood in August 2024 after a break from the business in July 2019 to pursue a career in the construction industry.  As with many jobs the down turn in the economy has meant a return to a guaranteed full time position within the grounds maintenance and landscaping industry.  Charlie has his level 2 horticulture, spraying licence, and CSCS card.

Stuart Smart

Grounds Maintenance Team Leader

Stuart started with Landywood in January 2020 from Cannock Chase District Council (Maintenance team) bringing with him a wealth of experience to our team. Stuart is trained in chainsaw use >380mm, stump grinders, grass machinery, handheld equipment, CSCS, ROLO, First aid, Woodchipper, Avant Loadall license, Forklift License

Phil O Brien

Grounds Maintenance Team Leader

Phil joined us in August 2024 after relocating from Gloucester where he worked as a Garden maintenance supervisor.  Prior to this he worked for a grounds maintenance company maintaining and developing commercial and private gardens for high-end clients in and across London and surrounding areas.  Phil has a 2.1 BSc Hons in Horticulture from his time at Writtle college, Chelmsford.  His wealth of experience and expertise in his field make him the ideal candidate for the team leader role.  

Louise Tenn

Senior Grounds Maintenance Operative

Louise joined the team in August 2021 straight from Rodbaston College as a grounds maintenance operative. 12months of hard work earned Louise a promotion to senior operative in August 2022. Trained in horticulture level 2, safe use of pesticides, woodchipper, Grass machinery, handheld equipment CSCS, ROLO and First Aid

Silver Lyonette

Grounds Maintenance Operative

Silver Joined us in June 2022 as a ground maintenance operative following a career at Pillaton Garden Centre and then within the grounds maintenance industry.  Silver is trained in Horticulture level 2, spraying of herbicides, business and accounting level 3 and has earned her competency certficiates on grass machinery and handheld equipment along with her CSCS and ROLO. Silver qualified to drive under the Landywood learn to drive scheme.

Liam Emery

Grounds Maintenance Operative

Liam joined us in April 2024 as a ground maintenance operative.  He is currently working towards earning his driving license.  He joined us from a local firm working on the railways across the country.  He is qualified in chainsaw use and brushcutters/strimmers.  He is a welcome and valued menber of the team, proving his capabilities within a matter of weeks working with us.

Dean Furnival

Yardman

Dean joined us in October 2021 as a part time yard man and equipment engineer.  He does a great job of keeping the teams on the road and their equipment in good working order.
